Data Protection and Privacy Policy

The Emerald Foundation handles the personal data of students with care, in line with the European General Data Protection Regulation (in force as of 25 May, 2018)

We ask the student’s explicit permission in writing for the sharing of contact details, for the general purposes of communication about the training, new modules and courses, between the Emerald foundation, her teachers, board members and administrative personnel.

We also ask the student’s explicit permission in writing for the sharing of contact details, for the purposes of invoicing and processing invoices, between the Emerald foundation administration and her accountant.

The Emerald Foundation training course in painting therapy maintains a student’s dossier which follows the student’s progress and completion of course requirements. Students have the right at all times to access their dossier and to correct or remove these files.

Students have the right to data portability.

Students have the right to file a complaint with the Board of the Emerald Foundation if they feel that their data has not been handled with due respect to privacy.

Students have the right at any time to request that the Emerald foundation delete their personal data from all files and databases that the training course maintains.
